Relay Consultants is a European and US-based consultancy that was established in 1992. Relay's directors have extensive experience of working with world class organizations and can demonstrate world-class capability and experience in enabling change and business improvement.
Anne-Marie Saunders
Anne-Marie began her career as an adult educationalist. She went on to study Individual and Organisational Development for three years at Emerson College in Sussex. Following this training, Anne-Marie worked as a consultant and senior partner with British and Dutch consultancy firms.
In 1989 Anne-Marie joined Hewlett Packard as an Internal Organisational Development Consultant. She was brought in to support the implementation of wide-ranging changes and played a key role in enabling the division to make the significant transition from a niche-player to market-leadership position.
Anne-Marie set up Relay Consultants in 1992. She specialises in organisational change and has successfully designed and facilitated large scale change programmes for the last 20 years. She is an expert facilitator, management developer, and a valued mentoring partner for senior and middle managers. She is an expert in the field of conflict resolution.
Alex Clark
Alex has a BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with Distinction. She is a chartered engineer.
Alex gained extensive management experience in her wide range of roles at Hewlett Packard (Manufacturing, Research and Development, Supplier Management, Cross-functional Programme Management). She was responsible for the development of a significant number of breakthrough management processes at HP, and played a major part in significantly reducing new product development cycle time. She went on to manage successfully a major re-engineering programme for Esselte Meto before setting up Relay Consultants in 1992 with Anne-Marie.
She specialises in organisational change management and has proven capabilities in the strengthening and integration of strategic and operational capabilities of organisations. She is a highly experienced consultant and a practised coach for managers at middle and senior levels.
Alex is also an experienced researcher in the area of strategic and operational management practices. She has provided clients with benchmarking reports on key areas of capability and has developed leading-edge management development programmes.
Terry Herbert
Terry has held senior sales and marketing roles over the past ten years. He has hired and developed successful international sales teams of up to 120 employees, and built numerous long-term relationships with Fortune 500 & Global 2000 customers. Terry's expertise lies in the areas of: acquisition, integration, divestiture, turnaround, and business growth. He has successfully managed OEM, distribution, e-commerce, and retail channels. Terry is the Managing Director of Relay responsible for overall business strategy.
Terry has planned, inspired and led long term business changes, both company wide and Within specific functions. He has delivered exponential increases in corporate value through the successful acquisition and integration of complimentary companies. Terry has a proven ability to lead and direct high performing multi-function teams, and has consistently delivered results by demonstrating high ethical standards, inclusive decision making, and team play.
Marshall Barton
Marshall has held senior sales and marketing roles in a number of blue chip organisations. His expertise lies in the areas of: managing strategic relationships, organisational change management, achieving business “breakthroughs”, and ensuring excellent operational delivery.
Marshall combines broad vision with highly pragmatic execution. He has consistently built sustainable and profitable relationships for and with organisations such as Hewlett Packard, Sony,and Seagate. Marshall has successfully managed OEM, Distribution, E-Commerce, and Retail Channels. He focuses on the effective balance of risk and reward – no surprises, and has a proven ability to lead and direct high performing multi-function teams. Results have been delivered by demonstrating high ethical standards, inclusive decision making, and team play.
Extended Team
Relay work with an extended team of experienced associates and subcontractors who share our values around high quality delivery, collaboration, integration and potential.
